AMN Anime is looking for a few talented anime loving people who are looking to crack into one of the largest entertainment industries in the world.
Most staff positions are currently available! We're looking for people with expertise, experience, or who just want to be a part of one of the Advanced Media Network's and the internet's most dedicated teams of online journalist and net personalities.

Here at AMN Anime and the Advanced Media Network, we are always looking for talented individuals to fill out our ranks. If you have a great idea for a writing position that is not listed, please let us know. We are always looking for news ways to connect with our online readership!
Important Requirements:
All applicants should know standard HTML.
All applicants must show a willingness to learn how our site and staff operate; as well as learn how to use our content system to provide written articles and media to the website.
Must have above-average spelling and grammar. It never hurts to have a writer's personality either.
We expect you to be online at least 1-3 hours a day or be available to be contacted when not via either working e-mail or any form of telephone. You must also use AOL Instant Messenger (AIM, free from AOL.com), MSN Messenger and, or Yahoo! Messenger (services also free).
Any staffer of appropriate age will also receive several press convention passes (depending on age restrictions of attending event), Anime press events and conventions, video gaming events, and plentiful anime material to review (DVDs, Manga, Visual Novels, etc. [if applying, and approved for, a review position)
Open Positions:
--- News Editor (8 positions open, including NEWS TEAM LEADER) ---
Daily Duties of a News Editor:
Reporting anime news for AMN Anime, including press releases, conference transcripts, commented articles, and exclusive reports, and daily industry news and happenings.
Editing news posts to maintain perfect spelling and neatness.
Participating in forum threads to find news tidbits or undocumented reports.
Contacting and communicating with several PR contacts to organize official press release designations.
--- Review Editor (5 positions open) ---
Daily Duties of a Review Editor:
Receiving, evaluating, and reviewing anime material, which is not limited to DVD and / or Blu-Ray disc anime movies, anime shows (single volume, compilations, complete or partial series sets, Manga,Anime Visual Novel games, online streaming anime episodes (from various sources)
Adding to and refining AMN Anime's DVD and Manga database
Posting any applicable images for each review
--- Anime Editorialist (4 positions open) ---
Duties of an Anime Editorialist:
Providing insight and experienced takes on the anime industry through periodical articles on anime or manga series, trends, news in the anime world, various themes, or specialized ideas such as personal written colums, blogs, mailbag, and more.
Analyzing and providing views on material based in the world of anime, manga, and Japanese visual media.
Reporting from anime conventions and events in order to provide coverage for the website
--- Video or Audio Podcast Specialists (4 positions open) ---
Duties of a Podcast Specialist:
Provide a voice or image for the website via online episodic podcast specials in either audio or video form.
Must be familiar with internet podcasts or internet video (depending on which position applied for).
Be an interesting person with ideas, views, and opinions. You also cannot be afraid to express those opinions to your listeners or viewers.
